Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Summer Suite: three plates by Meyer Vaisman for USD 250.00 (€ 174.36). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meyer Vaisman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,119.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Summer Suite: three plates von Meyer Vaisman für USD 250,00 (€ 174,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meyer Vaisman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 20.119,30).
