Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Meyer Vaisman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Small Filler sold for EUR 20,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Meyer Vaisman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Souvenir sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,119.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Meyer Vaisman erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Small Filler für EUR 20.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Meyer Vaisman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Souvenir im November 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 20.119,30).
