Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Meyer Vaisman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April this year. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Live the Dream (Clock) sold for USD 635.00 (€ 575.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meyer Vaisman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,119.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Meyer Vaisman erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Live the Dream (Clock) für USD 635,00 (€ 575,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meyer Vaisman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Souvenir im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 20.119,30).
