This artwork by Meyer Vaisman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. In the Colossal! Monumental Works from the 1980s auction, the work Bedsheet Blues sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,230.91) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Meyer Vaisman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Souvenir sold at auction in November 2015 with the realized price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,119.30).

Monumental Works from the 1980s wurde die Arbeit Bedsheet Blues für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.230,91) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00.
