Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Meyer Vaisman could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY auction, the work Live the Dream changed hands for USD 125.00 (€ 111.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meyer Vaisman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Souvenir in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 21,250.00 (€ 20,119.30).

In der Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY wechselte die Arbeit Live the Dream für USD 125,00 (€ 111,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meyer Vaisman erzielen.
