Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled Homeware No. 12 by Matthew Darbyshire for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,954.98). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthew Darbyshire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled: Shelves No.5 (and 3 details), which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,671.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
