This artwork by Matthew Darbyshire achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2015. In the ACHENBACH Art Auction auction, the work Homage to Ingvar Kamprad, 2007 sold for EUR 5,206.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matthew Darbyshire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled: Shelves No.5 (and 3 details), which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,671.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Matthew Darbyshire erzielte im Juni 2015 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction wurde die Arbeit Homage to Ingvar Kamprad, 2007 für EUR 5.206,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Matthew Darbyshire mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled: Shelves No.5 (and 3 details) beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.671,79) versteigert wurde.
