The work Bicho-Parafuso Sem Fim by Lygia Clark was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. It achieved a price of USD 818,600.00 (€ 671,313.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lygia Clark - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Contra Relevo (Objeto N. 7), which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 2,225,000.00 (€ 1,713,119.80).

Die Arbeit Bicho-Parafuso Sem Fim von Lygia Clark kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 818.600,00 (€ 671.313,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lygia Clark mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Contra Relevo (Objeto N. 7) beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 2.225.000,00 (€ 1.713.119,80) versteigert wurde.
