Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Still Life by Liu Hongwei. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 47,833.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Liu Hongwei have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Piggy Toy was auctioned for HKD 860,000.00 (€ 76,931.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von Liu Hongwei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 47.833,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Liu Hongwei konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Piggy Toy für HKD 860.000,00 (€ 76.931,00) versteigert.
