The work Piggy Toy by Liu Hongwei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 76,931.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. This high result makes Piggy Toy the most expensive artwork by Liu Hongwei that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Piggy Toy von Liu Hongwei kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 76.931,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%.
