Upper estimate price exceeded by 80 %.
This artwork by Leonard Baskin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2007. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Fifteen Woodcuts, Boston, The Friends of Art Boston University, 1962 sold for USD 360.00 (€ 272.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonard Baskin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Isaacangel in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 18,800.00 (€ 19,696.18).
