Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Lajos Kassák was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in February 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,060.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lajos Kassák have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamika in June this year with an auction result of EUR 52,920.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Lajos Kassák wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.060,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamika im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.920,00.
