Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lajos Kassák achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in March 2018. In the Collection Arthur Brandt auction, the work without title sold for EUR 9,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lajos Kassák have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamika in June this year with an auction result of EUR 52,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lajos Kassák erzielte im März 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Arthur Brandt wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamika im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.920,00.
