The work Komposition by Lajos Kassák was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,719.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Lajos Kassák have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamika in June this year with an auction result of EUR 52,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Komposition von Lajos Kassák kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.719,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamika im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.920,00.
