Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Hungarian geometric Composition by Lajos Kassák for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,125.68). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lajos Kassák - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dinamika, which sold at auction in June this year for EUR 52,920.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hungarian geometric Composition von Lajos Kassák für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.125,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dinamika beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für EUR 52.920,00 versteigert wurde.
