Sold at the upper estimate price
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Hungarian ba Ba by Lajos Kassák. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,073.86), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lajos Kassák achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dinamika in June this year with an auction result of EUR 52,920.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hungarian ba Ba von Lajos Kassák zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 4.073,86) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dinamika im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.920,00.
