This artwork by Lajos Kassák achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2015. In the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction, the work Hungarian the Black Triangle sold for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,638.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lajos Kassák have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dinamika in June this year with an auction result of EUR 52,920.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lajos Kassák erzielte im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective wurde die Arbeit Hungarian the Black Triangle für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.638,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lajos Kassák auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dinamika im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 52.920,00.
