This work without title by Kenzo Okada was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2011. It achieved a price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,152.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Kenzo Okada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homage in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,112.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Kenzo Okada kam im März 2011 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.152,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenzo Okada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homage im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.112,25).
