Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Christies in London held the auction Through a Collector's Eye: The Kenzo Kagami Collection of Postwar Japanese Art, which included the work A Hut by Kenzo Okada. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,626.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Kenzo Okada have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Homage was auctioned for USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,112.25).

Im Oktober 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion Through a Collector's Eye: The Kenzo Kagami Collection of Postwar Japanese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Hut von Kenzo Okada zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.626,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kenzo Okada konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Homage für USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.112,25) versteigert.
