Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work A Well by Kenzo Okada. The price achieved of USD 74,500.00 (€ 60,255.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Kenzo Okada have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2018 the work Homage was auctioned for USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,112.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Well von Kenzo Okada zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 60.255,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kenzo Okada konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2018 die Arbeit Homage für USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.112,25) versteigert.
