The work Easy-K by Kenneth Snelson was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2016. It achieved a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,754.17), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Kenneth Snelson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Maquette sold at auction in January 2013 with the realized price of USD 52,500.00 (€ 38,648.41).

Die Arbeit Easy-K von Kenneth Snelson wurde im März 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.754,17) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Kenneth Snelson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Maquette im Januar 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 38.648,41).
