In December 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art | New York, which included the work Sigma Data by Kenneth Snelson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,970.00 (€ 10,576.07), 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenneth Snelson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maquette, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 38,648.41).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sigma Data von Kenneth Snelson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.970,00 (€ 10.576,07) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Snelson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maquette beobachtet, die im Januar 2013 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 38.648,41) versteigert wurde.
