This artwork by Kenneth Snelson achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in May 2017. In the Modern auction, the work Metallic Sculpture sold for EUR 7,095.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kenneth Snelson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maquette in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 38,648.41).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Kenneth Snelson erzielte im Mai 2017 bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern wurde die Arbeit Metallic Sculpture für EUR 7.095,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenneth Snelson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maquette im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 38.648,41).
