Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Simultaner Tod Eines Mannes Im Flugzeug Und In Der Eisenbahn (Karshan 5) by Kazimir Malevich for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,904.98). This price was achieved in the auction Important Prints and Multiples Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazimir Malevich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suprematist Composition in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 85,812,500.00 (€ 73,532,562.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Simultaner Tod Eines Mannes Im Flugzeug Und In Der Eisenbahn (Karshan 5) von Kazimir Malevich für USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.904,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Prints and Multiples Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazimir Malevich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suprematist Composition im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.812.500,00 (€ 73.532.562,13).
