Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Secret Of Temptation With Portrait Of Ivan Kliun On The Verso by Kazimir Malevich was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 298,000.00 (€ 336,790.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kazimir Malevich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suprematist Composition in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 85,812,500.00 (€ 73,532,562.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Secret Of Temptation With Portrait Of Ivan Kliun On The Verso von Kazimir Malevich wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 298.000,00 (€ 336.790,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kazimir Malevich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suprematist Composition im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 85.812.500,00 (€ 73.532.562,13).
