Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rhythm Nation by Julia Dault was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,453.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julia Dault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rhythm Nation von Julia Dault kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.453,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julia Dault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14).
