Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Silver Lining by Julia Dault was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,200.00 (€ 2,903.81). Admittedly, works by Julia Dault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Silver Lining von Julia Dault wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.200,00 (€ 2.903,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julia Dault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14).
