Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Colorbond (Day) by Julia Dault for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,125.10). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julia Dault - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011, which sold at auction in June 2015 for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Colorbond (Day) von Julia Dault für GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.125,10) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Julia Dault mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14) versteigert wurde.
