Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kissyface by Julia Dault was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,432.06) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julia Dault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kissyface von Julia Dault kam im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.432,06) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julia Dault auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14).
