Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julia Dault could be acquired at Christies in London in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The London No Reserve Edit auction, the work Silver Fox changed hands for GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,314.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julia Dault achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,172.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julia Dault konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The London No Reserve Edit wechselte die Arbeit Silver Fox für GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.314,05) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julia Dault erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled 17, 11:00 Am - 4:00 Pm, January 20, 2011 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.172,14).
