Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by José Gamarra could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Spring Modern Sale auction, the work "Forêt" changed hands for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,489.45) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Gamarra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von José Gamarra konnte im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Spring Modern Sale wechselte die Arbeit "Forêt" für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.489,45) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Gamarra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27).
