Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work La main dans la main by José Gamarra for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,273.86). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by José Gamarra have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La main dans la main von José Gamarra für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.273,86) erwerben.
