Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Recherche et Prospection by José Gamarra was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in March 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,153.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Gamarra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Recherche et Prospection von José Gamarra wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.880,00 (€ 2.153,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Gamarra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27).
