Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Cinq Siècles D'Orage by José Gamarra. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 15,651.09). Other works by José Gamarra have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27) in November 2006 for the work Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cinq Siècles D'Orage von José Gamarra zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 15.651,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von José Gamarra haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27) im November 2006 für die Arbeit Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire beobachtet.
