Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Day Session, which included this untitled work by José Gamarra. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,770.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by José Gamarra have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire was auctioned for USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale Day Session durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von José Gamarra zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.770,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von José Gamarra konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2006 die Arbeit Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire für USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27) versteigert.
