It achieved a price of EUR 7,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Gamarra - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 27,147.27).

Die Arbeit Atardacer von José Gamarra wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion L'art à fleur de peau, parcours d'une collectionneuse bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Für andere Arbeiten von José Gamarra mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il U Aura Un Sourd Dans L'Histoire beobachtet, die im November 2006 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 27.147,27) versteigert wurde.
