A top price for John De Andrea - as previously expected
The work Sitting Woman by John De Andrea was sold in the Contemporary Art Day auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2011. The price achieved of USD 146,500.00 (€ 101,905.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sitting Woman is the most expensive artwork by John De Andrea that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Sitting Woman von John De Andrea wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
