Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John De Andrea could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Man Leaning Against The Wall changed hands for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,695.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by John De Andrea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sitting Woman, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 146,500.00 (€ 101,905.95).

In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Man Leaning Against The Wall für USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.695,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
