Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Joe Zucker for USD 63.00 (€ 55.59). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joe Zucker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jeweled Ant in July 2019 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,708.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joe Zucker für USD 63,00 (€ 55,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joe Zucker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jeweled Ant im Juli 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.708,00).
