Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Help, Let Me Out of Here! by Joe Zucker was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in February 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 11,183.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joe Zucker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jeweled Ant, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,708.00).
