Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Contemporary Curated featuring works from “In Its Own Light: Property from the Collection of Ed Cohen and Victoria Shaw” auction, the work The Provider, Scarlet Tanager changed hands for USD 1,000.00 (€ 934.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jason Middlebrook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lighting The Over And The Under in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,712.13).
