Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online | London, which included the work Oil & Gas by Jason Middlebrook. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,107.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jason Middlebrook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lighting The Over And The Under in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,712.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oil & Gas von Jason Middlebrook zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.107,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jason Middlebrook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lighting The Over And The Under im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.712,13).
