In May 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Soft Left by Jack Hamilton Bush. The »bidding war« ended at USD 475,000.00 (€ 426,047.18), 36% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jack Hamilton Bush have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 603,750.00 (€ 454,562.57) in July 2013 for the work Red Side Right (Right Side Red).
