Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Anthem by Jack Hamilton Bush was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. The price achieved of USD 200,000.00 (€ 176,631.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Hamilton Bush - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Side Right (Right Side Red), which sold at auction in July 2013 for USD 603,750.00 (€ 454,562.57).
