Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jack Hamilton Bush was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 163,800.00 (€ 139,487.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jack Hamilton Bush - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Side Right (Right Side Red), which sold at auction in July 2013 for USD 603,750.00 (€ 454,562.57).
