The work Black Gate by Iván Navarro was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2019. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,940.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iván Navarro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shortcut, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).

Die Arbeit Black Gate von Iván Navarro kam im Februar 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 43.940,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Iván Navarro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shortcut beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58) versteigert wurde.
