Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Black Hole of Light by Iván Navarro. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 17,413.84). Admittedly, works by Iván Navarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black Hole of Light von Iván Navarro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.160,00 (€ 17.413,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iván Navarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
