Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Exit (Baum) by Iván Navarro was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,050.00 (€ 17,998.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iván Navarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Exit (Baum) von Iván Navarro kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 19.050,00 (€ 17.998,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iván Navarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
