Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Iván Navarro could be acquired at Phillips in London in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Abandon (Agbar) changed hands for GBP 19,050.00 (€ 21,673.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iván Navarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Iván Navarro konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Abandon (Agbar) für GBP 19.050,00 (€ 21.673,05) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iván Navarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
