Auction result well in line with expectations

In July last year Christies in New York held the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Back to Square One by Iván Navarro. The price achieved of USD 30,240.00 (€ 29,641.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Iván Navarro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shortcut in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Back to Square One von Iván Navarro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.240,00 (€ 29.641,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Iván Navarro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shortcut im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58).
